Conservation succeeds when communities thrive. Discover how Kishindo contributes to local livelihoods, education, skills development, and sustainable opportunities through long-term environmental stewardship.
Conservation is most effective when local communities are active participants in its success.
By investing in education, supporting wellbeing initiatives, and creating pathways for skills development and employment, we aim to build long-term relationships that contribute to sustainable growth and opportunity.
Through collaboration, respect, and shared responsibility, we are working towards a future where conservation benefits everyone.
We support schools, learners, and educational programmes to encourage learning, personal growth, and access to opportunities that shape brighter futures.
We provide reusable personal hygiene supplies to young girls, promoting dignity, health, and continued participation in education.
Through our partnership with the Hantam Community Education Trust, we provide hospitality training and career development opportunities for local students.
Meaningful change happens through collaboration.
We proudly partner with organisations, schools, community groups, and local leaders who share our commitment to improving wellbeing, creating opportunities, and strengthening communities.

Kishindo is not a non-profit organisation, we believe that conservation projects should aim to become self sufficient through sustainable eco-tourism, and the surrounding communities should be supported by such companies. This process takes decades and often lifetimes to archive, Kishindo is still a relatively young eco-tourism destination and therefore apricates donations for their conservation and community projects.
Here is a list of community projects we would like to support:
Every visit to Kishindo helps support conservation and community initiatives that contribute to a stronger future for both people and nature.
Together, we can continue building opportunities, restoring landscapes, and creating positive change where it matters most.
